Credit card question...?

I was considering going to one of those consolidation places to help me lower my credit card debt. But people keep telling me that it looks bad on your credit report.

I would like to know what it is out there to help with credit card debt and still be able to maintain a decent credit score?

Thanks in advance

Angi

Credit card question...?

Angi - You are looking for the easy road here. There%26#039;s no easy road, there%26#039;s no magic pill. You and only you are the answer.

Get fighting mad. Get a second job, a third job, a fourth job. Work every day. Make income and put every dime on this debt. Sell anything you can and get the money applied THAT day to your debt.

Don%26#039;t delay this, not one day.

Credit card question...?

You might want to try a Credit Union first - if you have an asset you can use to secure the loan - you%26#039;ll get a much better rate.

Credit card question...?

Capital One offers a credit card locked to 2% above prime.

Also, banks will offer lines of credit as low as 1% above prime if you secure the loan with other holdings (estate, investment, or business.)

Credit card question...?

i don%26#039;t think it looks bad on your cedit report unless you skip payments, but you should go to a bank to get consolidated.

there is a place you can go and they don%26#039;t ask much questions ,but the interest is a little high it%26#039;s called citi financial

Credit card question...?

I didn%26#039;t know it makes you look bad. Oh darn it. I was going to do that myself. Now it%26#039;s back to the backup plan I guess.

Win the lottery jack pot. That%26#039;s the only way I%26#039;m going to pay off my debt.

Sorry Angi, but I%26#039;m the WORST person to ask about debt. I am (hopefully) in the last few months of a very hard career transition. In that, I%26#039;ve lost thousands. In that, I%26#039;m paying for a divorce and house payments for a house I don%26#039;t live in any more. So any advice I give you about getting out of debt is as good as listening to a talking gold fish.
