I do have good credit, but now I am at the point where I work to %26quot;just%26quot; pay bills. My paycheck is not even enough. I only make the minimum payment and it is not helping at all. I just want to know if anyone has any advice on how I can help myself get out of this credit card debt. Is there a company that is not a scam that will help me? Or can these credit card companies help me?
Credit debt????
Make more money, quit spending, sell things to pay down your debt
Credit debt????
sell everything you own, then take the money and run.
Credit debt????
I don%26#039;t know which country your in but this is the way to handle things in Australia.
For a start, try to consolidate your debts. If you have multiple cards then you are most likely have to pay more (fees, different interest rates etc) than you would have to if you owed all the money to one lender. Shop around, be honest about exactly what you want to do, get a personal loan with the lowest rate (and lowest fees) that you can and pay off your cards. Then cut up your cards so you won%26#039;t be tempted to get into more debt.
Oh, and the selling things is a good idea too.

Have you really look at your spending. Going to any company will cost you money. There is no magical solution. First you need to stop feeding your credit card, quit using it. Next, look at your spending, I bet you can eliminate or reduce on some things right now. You have to pay more than the minimum balance. Over two and half years ago, I had over $17,000 in gambling debts (credit card advances). I started my own program in May 2005. I have been doing it ever since and I will be done in December 2008. No one was chasing me, paying my bills on time and a lot more than the minimum payments. I have learn new habits and can not wait when I can start saving rather than pay a credit card bill. Go and visit your library and look for books regarding simple budgets. Good Luck.
Credit debt????
now credit card companies targeting new customer by trying to lure other people customer by offering 0% INTRO APR on balance transfer. although it sound foolish but they are in this biz for good so do research and look the statistic.
we as customer always blame them if we are in trouble for not helping us. biz is a biz so don%26#039;t expect those companies to help us. what you can do is find a way how could you play the game. since the companies are offering 0% INTRO APR on balance transfer take advantage of them but remember nobody give something for nothing. there must be a catch. and the catch always target the mistake that we all always do and that is didn%26#039;t read all the term that credit card companies has legal right to charge us. so make sure read the term.
if you accept them then make sure you know how to use the card for your own benefit. don%26#039;t go for debt consolidation companies because you can do it yourself if you willing to learn from the vast information on the net.
so for your problem with this credit card debt just transfer to new card, pay the minimum on time, never be late otherwise the 0% INTRO APR is OFF, transfer to another card once the INTRO period near the end. do this until you increase you credit rating and can apply for low APR card with more benefit. hope that helps a bit.
