Debt consolidation will not only lower your monthly payments, but will reduce your interest rate so that your total payments will be less. You just have to be careful to select a reputable company that deals with nonprofit credit counseling agencies.

Check out http://mortgageous.com/debt-consolidatio... to get hooked up with a certified credit advisor. Most of their debt consolidation services are subsidized by creditors, so you may not even have to pay anything.

Congratulations on deciding to take care of your debt. It%26#039;s a great move on your part and I wish you the very best of luck!

I have placed this in the source box. There is a wealth of information there and a great free debt management software program. I bookmarked the site as I return to it often for the advice it offers. I hope this helps you.

Try the below website. Home ownership is not required for a debt consolidation loan

Hello,

I am Mrs Lilian I am a legit lender from ITALY who gives out loans to those who are interested in getting a loan at low interest rate. I give out both business loans and personal loans.

For those that are applying for a business loan, that maximum amount that I offer is 7,000,000.00 USD. For those that are interested in getting a personal loan, the maximum is 1,000,000.00 USD.

You need to let me know the amount that you need as a loan and your choice of mind if the loan is personal or for business purpose, so that I can send you the application details and start processing the loan for you. Contact me via: lin_lender@yahoo.com

Best Regards

Mrs Lilian Ricardo

Go to www.daveramesy.com, listen to the show, read his books, and you will change your financial future forever. I started listening to him four years ago and it has changed the way my family lives, and we now have the CASH to pay for everything we need without owing ANYONE the money (or credit). Second, GET RID OF THE CERDIT CARDS!!!! Don%26#039;t get anymore!!!

Be careful where you look. Especially here!

Problem with getting a loan, unless you have collateral to put up (a home) then getting a personal loan to pay off debt is difficult.

Not many banks would take the risk of loaning anyone money to pay off other debt unless you have superb credit.

You do have many options, but be sure you check out any company you speak with. Best best may be just to take one at a time and get them paid for. Maybe just pay them all at once at the beginning of the month. Don%26#039;t use them anymore and just concentrate on getting out of debt.

If a bank won%26#039;t give you a loan, there are many other ways to pay off those cards that you may not have even thought of. The webpage below gives you advice on how to save money on food, clothing, auto expenses and more. I hope this helps =)

I%26#039;ve been in your shoes. Long term solution is to live on a budget and determine your goals. An excellent book to start you on this road: A Women%26#039;s Guide to Family Finances by Ellie Kay. Get it for free at your library and read it cover to cover (it%26#039;s not long). She has a handful of other books that cover living more frugally and still having a good life. Someone else suggested Dave Ramsey--he is also a great resource for direction if you are seriously tired of it all and want to get OUT of debt for good.

Short term fix: call or go online to your credit lenders and find out what your current interest rate(s) is/are. Ask them for a lower rate. Sometimes even a 3-6 month lower rate can help you make larger payments and get that debt paid off. Also consider a balance transfer so all the debt is moved onto one card to pay off at a lower rate. Again, you will need to call and/or go online to find out who is offering what and read all the fine print and be sure you understand the terms and conditions before you transfer with anyone. You will pay a fee (generally it is 3-5% of the amount being transferred) and you will need to determine if that fee is worth it depending on the rate of interest and length of the offer versus your debt. You won%26#039;t get screwed by anyone if you are educated before you call. Yes, the customer service folks can get rather aggresive when they hear you might be interested in doing a transfer so just stay calm, ask ALL of your questions (no matter how stupid or ignorant you think you might sound) and get everything in writing (they will mail you the info if you ask for it). Have them go over it with you and do the math until you figure out what is best for your situation. Be mindful that you need to figure the transfer fee into what your new balance will be, and figure in your interest so you don%26#039;t go over your limit when it%26#039;s all said and done. Give yourself a buffer of whatever you think is prudent to pay the debt and not go over your limit...which is bad for anyone%26#039;s credit record and score.

Don%26#039;t take out a loan to fix your credit debt...it is never a good idea to try to eliminate debt by adding more debt.
