Look for Consumer Credit Counseling Services in the Yellow Pages. They are non-profit and not a bunch of scammers. They have helped me tremendously. Don%26#039;t wait, I am so glad I didn%26#039;t!!

Ask for help - you do not have to settle for bankruprcy!! At least see what other options are out there before doing that. And, yes there are alot of rip-off artisits out there, but CCCS are not one of them. Like I said, if they could help me, chances are they can help you, too!

The bottom line is that you continue to do the best you can until you feel like you have no way out. And then bankruptcy is your last resort. Dont waist your time with debt counselors or consolidaters. They will just make things worse.

I would recommend Consumer Credit Counseling Services. They are free, not for profit and will work with your credit card companies to lower both your monthly payment and your interest rates. I used them several years ago and was debt free in 36-months.
