To take your questions in order, 1. Yes. 2. True, see next question. 3. Eventually they will take you to court and get a judgment against you, then they can garnish your wages, attach bank accounts and file liens on any property you may own like vehicles, land or homes. 4. They will show up as %26quot;managed by credit counseling%26quot;, this is a lot better than the way they are showing up now. 5. Call Consumer Credit Counseling Services, they are free and will work with your creditors to lower your monthly payments as well as your interest rates, I used them several years ago and was debt free in 36-months.

Please pay these items off. Use the snowball effect:
1) Choose the item on which you owe the least and put as much money into it as possible. (Don%26#039;t ever pay the minimum payment - it goes almost all to interest. You have to pay higher than the minimum payment.)
2) Once that item is paid off, choose the next item you owe the least on. Pay not only what you normally pay on that loan, but take everything you were using to pay off the first item and put it all toward this item.
3) Continue doing this until all your loans are paid off. This will happen faster than you think if you stay dedicated with it.

First you have to pay, then you wait the 7 years; counseling will not affect you negatively, counseling is a good thing; yes they can sue you and take money from your check and tax return but the court will decide how much, they know you still have a family to feed.
You can go to one economical advisor, they can help you get a rasonable monthly payment. Don%26#039;t go to those people that claim to be able to %26quot;fix%26quot; your credit report, that%26#039;s a scam. As a matter of fact Do Not go with anyone that claim to be able to halp you on exchange for a fee.
